ABOUT

GET TO KNOW LOLO SPENCER

Lauren ‘Lolo’ Spencer is a Film Independent Spirit Award-nominated actress, disability advocate, lifestyle content creator, and public speaker. She burst onto the scene as ’Tracy’ in the award-winning film Give Me Liberty, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and landed her the Indie Spirit nomination. She would go on to play fan favorite ‘Jocelyn’ on Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls, and ‘Daphne’ opposite Barbie Ferreira and John Leguizamo in Bob Trevino Likes It. Inspired by a true friendship, Bob Trevino Likes It won both the Narrative Feature Jury Award and the Audience Award at the SXSW Film Festival in 2024 before landing in theaters in March 2025.

One of InStyle’s 50 Women Making the World a Better Place in 2021, Lolo is an ambulatory wheelchair user due to a neuromuscular mobility disability and became a powerful voice in disability advocacy, winning the Christopher Reeve Acting Scholarship after her Sundance debut. In 2023 she released her first book, Access Your Drive and Enjoy the Ride, and she voices ‘Jazmyn ‘Jazy’ Jones' on Disney Jr’s animated series Firebugs.

She continued to build upon her platform with the launch of Live Solo - a lifestyle brand dedicated to young adults with disabilities who seek independence & self-empowerment.
